The Project Design Engineer Senior will be part of the technical office and will support the Project Managers in the implementation and delivery of projects using plants diagrams or technical data relating to complex equipment, equipment or machinery or systems or their main parts, setting the execution of the overall design, the optimal solutions, the proportions, the dimensions.
What you will do as a Project Design Engineer:
- Do a layout
- Create a hydraulic profile
- Do and size a P&ID;
- Choose materials suitable for the process
- Choose machines, valves, equipment
- Ensure the collection of all the technical documentation aimed at developing the project
- Carry out inspections and/or meetings at Fluence construction sites/customers both in Italy and abroad.
What Core Competencies You Possess:
- Engineering and Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and project requirements.
- Quality Management: Understanding of quality control principles and industry standards to ensure the project meets quality benchmarks.
- Technical Software Proficiency: Skilled in using design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ESAIN) and management tools (such as Microsoft Dynamics).
- Process Optimization: Skills in analyzing and improving work processes to increase efficiency and reduce project timelines.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks (both technical and managerial) to ensure project success.
- Operational Safety Management: Understanding workplace hazards, policies, procedures, and regulations to protect personnel and minimize risks.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to business priorities.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with the team to achieve common goals and objectives
Who you are and what you bring to the table:
- Degree in civil engineering, hydraulics specialization.
- 5+ years of experience in equivalent position.
- Knowledge of Autocad 2D or Autocad 3D, Esain, plant 3D, inventor is also appreciated.
- Developing and understanding P&ID.;
- Good knowledge of the English language, knowledge of the Spanish language is also appreciated
