About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Controller to join the Controlling team in Bologna. The role strengthens the controlling function at ACMA while supporting cash management activities for Rotzinger Transver in Switzerland.
\n
Reporting to the Head of Controlling, the Junior Controller will develop strong expertise in cost controlling, credit management, and cashflow monitoring. The role includes close collaboration with Finance, Sales, Project Management, and Accounting teams in Italy, as well as continuous interaction with the local finance team in Switzerland.
\n
The position requires frequent business travel to support the deployment of structured cash management and credit monitoring processes in the Swiss subsidiary.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
Monitor SG&A;, Payroll, Headcount, and Opex together with functional stakeholders.
\n
Prepare monthly cost reports and analytical files for Month‑End Closing, Budget, and Forecast.
\n
Perform variance analysis vs budget, forecast and prior periods; record accruals and ensure correct cost allocation.
\n
Support management in understanding cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
\n
Assist in monthly closing activities related to controllable costs.
\n
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data for management reporting.
\n
Collaborate with Accounting, HR, and other functions to ensure reliable financial data.
\n
Provide analytical insights to support management decision‑making.
\n
Contribute to continuous improvement of financial and controlling processes.
\n
Support cashflow forecasting and monthly cash monitoring.
\n
In addition the controller will learn how to:
\n
Monitor and manage outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.
\n
Prepare aging reports, follow‑up actions, and escalation notes.
\n
Collaborate closely with CFO, Sales, Customer Service, and Project Management to resolve payment issues.
\n
Improve credit management processes and key performance indicators.
\n
Support the introduction of structured cash monitoring processes in the Swiss subsidiary.
\n
Work with the local finance team in Switzerland to improve visibility on receivables and cash trends.
\n
Qualifications
\n
Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
\n
2–4 years of experience in Controlling.
\n
Previous experience in credit management or treasury will be considered a plus.
\n
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
\n
Advanced Excel skills; SAP knowledge is a plus.
\n
Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
\n
Availability for frequent business travel to Switzerland.
\n
Proactive, structured, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
\n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
