We are looking for aAssistant Front Desk Managerfor the next season to join our Front Office team.
The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in world-renowned destinations to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence and curiosity.
He/she is passionate about service and willing to grow professionally.
He/She will report to the Front Desk Manager.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Support the Front Desk Manager in the day-to-day management of reception operations
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the reception team to ensure efficient and effective service
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction
Monitor and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports and ensure proper documentation
Assist with administrative duties, such as updating reservation logs and managing guest lists
Train and mentor reception staff, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements
Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in similar roles like Assistant Front Desk Manager, within luxury 5-star hotels or international chains
Excellent knowledge of Front Office operations and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera PMS, HMS)
Strong customer focus and a natural aptitude for delivering an exceptionally high standard of service
Outstanding leadership, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations calmly and professionally
Fluent command of both Italian and English (written and spoken) is essential.
Knowledge of a third language (e.g., French, German, Russian, Arabic) will be considered an advantage
Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Secondary school diploma or university degree, preferably in tourism or hospitality management

Start date: April **** to End date: November ****, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path
Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniority and skill level, separate payslip for 13°, 14° and TFR
