Overview
MARPOSS Italia - Field Application Specialist. For our commercial division MARPOSS Italia site in Bentivoglio (Bo), we are looking for a Field Application Specialist for the line of new products related to the Machine Tools division. The role involves supporting and managing the installation, commissioning and testing of new products and special applications, providing technical assistance and specific training at the customer's premises or at our premises. The specialist acts as a bridge between the sales department and the end customer, ensuring seamless integration between customer and product and that the product is used optimally. The role also includes on-site technical support, specific training as required, and the collection of feedback to be reported to the internal design departments.
Responsibilities
* Support and manage the installation, commissioning and testing of new products and special applications.
* Provide technical assistance and specific training at the customer’s premises or at our premises.
* Act as a bridge between the sales department and the end customer to ensure seamless integration and optimal product use.
* Provide on-site technical support and specific training as required.
* Conduct analyses and collect feedback to be reported to internal design departments.
Qualifications
* Graduates in engineering (preferably in electronics, automation or IT) or graduates in equivalent technical subjects with experience in machine tools and/or automatics (positive).
* Knowledge and experience in the use and operation of machine tools (numerical controls, milling machines, lathes, grinding machines).
* Knowledge of ISO programming and G-codes.
* Knowledge of Industry 4.0, OPC UA and Industrial IoT topics.
* Knowledge of the English language (preferably technical English).
* Willingness to travel to customers (mainly domestic and short-term).
* Previous experience in support and testing of control and monitoring systems on machine tools is appreciated.
* Good interpersonal and commercial skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
