PpThe new Multipurpose Terminal in the Port of Trieste for Container, RoRo, General Cargo and Project Cargo. The terminal, located in the heart of the Adriatic, is to accommodate growing demand and to become the future interchange platform between sea and rail on the intersection of Baltic, Adriatic and Mediterranean railway. /p pYour gateway in the Adriatic to Europe. /p h3Port Equipment Training Coordinator /h3 pbPurpose of the job /b /p pThe Port Equipment Training Coordinator comes from a solid hands‑on experience in operations and is responsible for designing, organizing, and delivering high-quality training programs for our technical teams and operators, playing a key role in enhancing the technical skills of our workforce and ensuring consistent knowledge transfer across the organization to promote flexibility and multi‑skill. /p pbResponsabilities: /b /p pbDesign Training Programs: /b /p ul liDevelop detailed training plans, materials, instructor guides, manuals, learning modules (including verification tests to verify the acquisition of technical and/or administrative knowledge) and documentation tailored to target audiences, taking into account the needs and regulations required by HHLA, Port Authorities and aligning with the Company's operational and business areas. All these activities must be carried out with a prior alignment and constant cooperation with HSEQ department; proposing changes to the procedures and operating instructions for driving the vehicles (e.g. tug master, reach stacker, etc.); /li liCreate engaging and interactive training content using modern tools and instructional design methodologies; /li liMain focus of the training should be terminal equipment: MHC crane, Reach stacker, tug masters, etc.; /li liLeverage training opportunities from new technologies (e.g. simulator) and from external suppliers (e.g. external training centers); /li liStructure induction program for newly hired Equipment Operators; /li liDefine and deliver “Train The Trainer” training plan by identifying Key users and training them as key trainers; /li liDefine an expected average time for the completion of a training cycle for every equipment/job (e.g. 2 months for 4x4 tug masters, etc.); /li liAttend periodical training and education meetings for operational staff with OPS, HR and HSEQ. /li /ul pbIdentify Training Needs and create training plan /b /p ul liConduct training needs assessments in collaboration with operations supervisors and technical leads; /li liDevelop detailed training plans to ensure consistent development in employees’ technical skills, taking into account operations constraints and development targets; /li liMonthly review and update training plans. /li /ul pbOrganize Training Sessions: /b /p ul liSchedule training sessions, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage logistics (venues, tools, equipment availability) both for in-house and external technical training; /li liDeliver induction training to newly hired equipment operators; /li liEngage and motivate experienced drivers for training on the job; /li liMaintain training schedule and track attendance and progresses, ensuring that relevant documentation is properly filled‑in and recorded; /li liPrepare and distribute pre-training and post-training materials as needed; /li liKeep updated the list of internal trainers (with a prio‑alignment with HSEQ dept.), ensuring that on‑the‑job training is delivered only by qualified trainers. /li /ul pbDeliver and Record Training: /b /p ul liConduct in‑person, virtual, or hybrid technical training sessions; /li liUse a variety of delivery methods including instructor‑led training, training on the job, simulations; /li liProvide one‑on‑one coaching or mentoring when required; /li liDeliver duly completed attendance lists, exams and forms signed by each participant at the end of each course; /li liSupport administrative activities related to training course preparation and document control; /li liCarry out the necessary activities to prepare theoretical training rooms and scenarios for practical exercises; /li liEnsure proper recording of training, to facilitate audits and monitoring both from internal functions and external bodies. /li /ul pbEvaluate and Improve Training Effectiveness: /b /p ul liAssess training outcomes through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics. /li liContinuously update training content based on technology changes and participant feedback. /li liReport on training effectiveness and suggest improvements. /li liConduct regular audits during the working days of trained staff in order to identify and establish operational improvements and new working methods (GEMBA). /li liReport to Operations Management and HSE any deviations found in daily activities from procedures provided during training. /li liAttend internal and external refresher courses provided, either by manufacturers or vendors, in order to stay on the cutting edge of equipment management, course delivery, and instructional technology. /li /ul pbRequirements /b: /p pbEducation Experience /b /p ul liTechnical degree or related degree; /li li2 to 5 years of experience as a harbour crane operator and other terminal equipment; /li li2 to 5 years as a training instructor; /li /ul pbTechnical Skills Knowledge Required (specific skills and knowledge required for the position) /b /p ul liDesign of syllabus and training manuals; /li liDesign of instructor guides; /li liGood knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and laws; /li liState‑of‑the‑art knowledge of equipment management, course delivery, and instructional technology. /li /ul pbBehavioral Competences Required (e.g., organizational skills, ability to lead a team, etc.) /b /p ul liPassion for teaching and ability to communicate knowledge; /li liExcellent organizational and supervisory skills; /li liSelf‑directedness, attention to detail, results orientation; /li liTolerance to pressure /li /ul pbLanguage Requirements /b /p ul liProficient Italian; /li liIntermediate English. /li /ul pbOther Requirements /b /p ul liValid EU work permit.
