We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Belleville Neighbourhood Clinic and invite physicians to practice in a shared care model.
The Neighbourhood Clinic operates in a separate location and provides Primary Care services to better serve our community. It is part of the HPE OHT’s strategy to increase access and attachment to primary health care in HPE.
We are seeking physicians committed to client‑centered care, passionate about innovative thinking and collaborative teamwork, to provide primary health care to a defined patient roster. The clinic uses a novel shared‑care model where patients are rostered to the clinic rather than an individual provider. Direct patient care and inbox responsibilities will be shared among a team of physicians and NPs, supported by a community‑based interdisciplinary health care team (RPNs, RNs, administrative staff and allied health professionals).
Clinic offers comprehensive primary health care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, education, rehabilitation and/or therapeutic support to clients of all ages for optimal health outcomes.
Physician salaries range from $149.38 to $181.57 per hour (up to a maximum of 35 hours per week). Physicians in this model are not required to manage billing, staff, or overhead expenses, allowing greater focus on patient care. Physicians may apply for full‑time, part‑time or casual opportunities on a short or long‑term basis.
Qualifications
* Current registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and in good standing
