Our Global Tax Calculation Services team is a collaborative powerhouse of tax professionals and software engineers. We\'re passionate about developing end-to-end transaction tax solutions that support Amazon and global e-commerce platforms. Our vision is to simplify complex tax landscapes through technology and expertise.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Maintain Tax Calculation Systems and apply any legislative changes
* Design user-centric interfaces and identify optimal resource allocation for tax calculation systems
* Collaborate with Tax, Legal, Product, and Tech teams to investigate and resolve complex tax-related challenges
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and developing scalable, automated calculation solutions
* Support testing and validation of innovative projects, including machine learning and AI-enhanced tax workflows
* Generate comprehensive data analysis and reports using business intelligence tools to inform strategic decision-making
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree
* Skilled in Excel
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Understanding of tax calculation principles and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with machine learning or AI technologies
* Knowledge of international tax regulations
* Experience in e-commerce or technology-driven tax solutions
Compensation and Benefits
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2133 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development.
Work Arrangement
Office-based role with flexibility for remote work in exceptional circumstances, aligned with Amazon\'s current work guidance.
