Operating autonomously and delivering high judgement advice, HRPs help to enable an exceptional customer and employee experience. /p pAmazon HRPs actively collaborate with business and HR stakeholders, including: /p ul liHRBPs who are focused on delivering the HR strategy for the lines of business they support. /li liCenter of excellence, including Employee Services (who own HR administration), Compensation Benefits and Talent Acquisition. /li /ul pHRPs are required to have strong knowledge of their country’s employment labour law, are skilled in consulting on Amazon policy and build trust by providing high judgement guidance on people related topics. Amazon HRPs work as ‘generalists’ across multiple Corporate businesses, partnering with people leaders to provide quick, efficient, high quality consultation and guidance. /p pThis role is performed through an innovative customer relationship Management tool, which enables this team to be uniquely positioned to identify trending issues and themes through data and inform consequent decisions and initiatives. The HRP team’s role is also to standardise best practices across EMEA, due to our extensive insights across business lines. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liProviding guidance to HRBPs and Business Leaders on change management initiatives. /li liPerformance management processes, both informal and formal. /li liComplex and sensitive employee issues, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures. /li liFacilitating development sessions, focused on building manager effectiveness and capability. /li liSupport on Employee Relations cases, including but not limited to the relationship with Workers Councils and labor inspections (strong knowledge of German labour law is mandatory for this role). /li liIdentifying training opportunities to further develop functional and leadership skills. /li liSupporting Leaders with career conversations and career growth plans. /li /ul h3A day in the life /h3 pAlongside the core case work, the HRP team have responsibility for policy and compliance at country level, which necessitates staying informed about any legislative or Amazon driven updates and utilising strong written skills to change policy documents. Additionally, an important part of our HRP team's career development is to participate or lead subject‑matter expert groups, focused on improving key HR processes (such as Talent or Performance management) across EMEA, or individual project assignments at country, or regional level. Last but not least, as HR country subject‑matter experts, manage ER cases and the negotiations with the Workers Council. /p pThe role can be based in Bucharest, Romania or Gdańsk, Poland. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelors degree or higher, in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field /li liExtensive Human Resources generalist work experience /li liStrong knowledge of Romanian /or Polish Employment Law /li liFluent Romanian /or Polish and English language skills /li liStrong HR acumen, including strong problem‑solving skills, critical thinking and analysis /li liExperience working in a matrix organisation /li liExcellent ability to deliver results individually as well as working in a team. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liProven track record of accomplishments in an international environment, which is fast paced and customer driven /li liProven ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and make the best use of available resources /li liProject management and the ability to deliver, with a proven track record of influencing through data‑driven recommendations /li liExperience managing Works Councils /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
