Technical Operational Support Expert – Taranto Join Vestas as a Technical Operational Support Expert – Taranto in our Blades Process Engineering team at the Taranto Vestas factory. Are you interested in the wind energy sector? We are seeking an Operational Support Expert to support two key manufacturing areas: Handling & Logistics and Finish & Paint. These positions are ideal for engineers with 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process improvement environment, ready to grow their careers in a global renewable energy company. Responsibilities Support and improve processes in either Handling & Logistics or Finish & Paint areas. Analyze current operations and identify areas for improvement. Create and maintain plans for implementing improvements. Support the implementation of changes through Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). Participate in or lead small improvement projects. Act as a point of contact for urgent production issues. Use structured problem‑solving tools: 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA. Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Work closely with cross‑functional teams and spend time on the factory floor. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar. 2–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production support, or process improvement. Basic knowledge of Lean tools and structured problem‑solving (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA). Experience in continuous improvement activities. English language skills for daily communication. Competencies Technical and methodological thinking. Motivated approach to solving problems. Good communication and cooperation skills. Organized on tasks.
