Job SummaryWork with the most recent and detailed marine cartographic data to develop software systems and tools for advanced data processing, specifically, in the field of bathymetric data processing (e.g. from sonar data to 3D surfaces). Face challenging programming problems to elaborate geospatial big data, integrating with existing tools of an advanced marine cartography production line.Primary Responsibilities
Design and develop algorithms for advanced data processing and for the management of marine and geospatial big data.Analyze the input data and the existing toolsets to elaborate them.Being responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial concepts and group consultation to design, coding, testing, debugging and software release.Propose and implement new designs to improve software performances, stability and maintainability.Collaborate with other software developers to create a stronger development team.Participating in system design discussions including feature analysis, working closely with your team and with Chart Product Managers, SQA testers and Data Analysts, to realize effective and ergonomic tools.
Required Qualifications
3 years of C++ programmingMastering OOP.Experience in software design.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to elaborate effective and efficient algorithms.Strong understanding of computing: Multi-threading, Memory consumption, Algorithm complexity.
