Job Responsibilities
* Represents the Company with respect to promotion and sales of footwear to a variety of customers within a defined geographical area.
* Develops, in coordination with the Sales Manager, a sales plan (by brand, account, and product) for the territory.
* Coordinates with the Sales Manager the most efficient coverage pattern for the territory as well as call frequency on major accounts; travels throughout assigned territory to solicit orders.
* Displays or demonstrates products, using samples or catalogs, and emphasizes salable features.
* Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
* Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of the company’s production and delivery schedules.
* Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
* Submits weekly and monthly reports, highlighting sales performance information by account, identifying opportunities and key issues within the territory.
* Performs duties consistent with the company’s GTM/PDM goals and policies.
* Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
* Creates scenarios for deep segmentation and distribution according to brand strategies, regional, and local needs.
