Responsibilities
* Advise the business on regulatory and compliance matters related to payments and credit products.
* Structure, draft and negotiate commercial agreements for domestic and international payment and credit products.
* Provide ongoing legal counseling on a wide range of commercial, regulatory, and compliance issues in the payments and financial services space.
Basic Qualifications
* 2+ years of legal experience in corporate or in‑house practice.
* Jurisdiction in or membership in one state bar or equivalent.
* Knowledge of ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context.
* Experience in private practice or in‑house technology company.
* Managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in payments, credit/lending, or financial services.
* Mix of corporate law firm and in‑house work experience.
* Experience in web services, cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent.
Compensation & Benefits
* Base salary range: $131,500.00 – $178,000.00 USD annually.
* Sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
