TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Production & Operations Functional Consultant.
The resource will act as a functional reference for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain modules of Business Central, working closely with clients to analyze production processes, configure the system and ensure solutions aligned with real operational needs.
Main responsibilities:
Analyze clients’ production and operational processes (Bills of Materials, routing, production orders, MRP/MPS planning);
Configure Manufacturing and Supply Chain modules of Business Central based on collected requirements;
Conduct workshops with production, warehouse and procurement stakeholders;
Prepare functional documentation: blueprints, specifications and user manuals;
Support UAT phases and manage feedback collection;
Train end users and provide support during go-live and post go-live phases;
Collaborate with the technical team for customizations and integrations with MES/WMS systems;
Contribute to the definition of internal best practices within the Manufacturing practice.
Required technical skills:
At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV/Navision;
Strong knowledge of production processes: BOM, routing, production orders, capacity planning;
Knowledge of Supply Chain flows: purchasing, warehouse, sales, transfer orders;
Experience in at least 2 end-to-end implementations as a functional consultant;
Ability to independently conduct workshops and gather requirements;
At least 3 years of prior experience in this role;
Native Italian and technical English (B2+).
The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving skills and is able to tackle complex situations with an analytical, solution-oriented approach. A strong aptitude for customer relations, combined with effective communication skills, is required.
The profile is rounded out by a knack for application testing, the ability to draft clear and well-structured technical documentation, and a willingness to assist with end-user training.
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of advanced WMS (Warehouse Management) module in Business Central;
Familiarity with MRP/MPS logic and capacity planning;
Experience with integrations with third-party MES, SCADA or WMS systems;
Microsoft certification MB-335 (Supply Chain Management);
Background in manufacturing or production environments;
Knowledge of Power BI for operations reporting.
Education: High school diploma.
