This IPP focuses on building and operating a diversified portfolio of wind, solar, and energy storage assets across Europe and the US, with this role based in its Italian branch. /ppbr/ppThis role focuses on delivering grid connection and electrical engineering support for renewable energy projects across Italy. You will be involved from early feasibility through detailed design and grid agreement, working closely with internal teams and a wide range of external stakeholders. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliLead grid connection activities, from initial feasibility through to secured agreements with TSOs and DSOs. /liliReview and compare grid connection solutions, considering cost, programme, and technical risk. /liliProvide electrical engineering input to multiple projects, working alongside project, engineering, and commercial teams. /liliTrack regulatory and market changes affecting onshore transmission and assess their impact on project development. /liliEngage with regulators, grid operators, and industry bodies as part of consultations and working groups. /liliDevelop HV and MV electrical concepts and designs across feasibility and detailed design stages. /liliSpecify and select major electrical equipment, including substations, transformers, and cabling. /liliSupport procurement and tender processes with technical evaluations and clarifications. /liliInterface with equipment suppliers to validate solutions and ensure technical compliance. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequired Skills Experience /strong /pulliDegree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. /liliMinimum 5 years’ experience in grid and electrical engineering roles. /liliStrong understanding of the Italian power market, grid codes, and connection processes (TERNA and E-Distribuzione). /liliFull driving licence. /liliFluent in Italian and English. /li /ulpbr/ppIf this sounds like an interesting opportunity, please apply or reach out to /p
