TXT Group is looking for a young Aeronautical Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defence business unit within our Training and Simulation environment for a new and innovative project.
The role:
For the Aerospace & Defence business line, TXT E-Tech is looking for a Junior Aeronautical Engineer to be included in Training and Simulation line of business, in the team involved into the development, customization and validation of flight dynamics model. The activity is intended for the development of Helicopter Flight Simulation Training Devices.
Specifically, the activity will involve:
Develop flight dynamics model for rotary wing aircraft in Matlab/Simulink or C++ programming language;
Analyse flight test data for validation data selection and aircraft characteristics identification;
Support and manage certification process for a flight simulation training device, based on international regulations;
Prepare the required technical documentation to support the simulator qualification process;
Interact with Pilots & Aircraft Specialist to collect the data and information required to accurately simulate the aircraft behaviour.
Technical skills required
A degree in STEM disciplines, especially in the aeronautical field (such as Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering), is required.
The candidate is also required to have knowledge of the English language at a minimum level of B2, written and spoken and:
knowledge of flight mechanics and dynamics principles;
Experience with Matlab and/or Simulink;
Knowledge of technical documentation preparation.
Course of study: Master's Degree in Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical engineering or Mathematical Engineering.
