LABORATORY ENGINEER - TESTING & DATA ANALYSISThe overall objective for this position is to carry out professional appliances testing according to reference standards. In this role you will conduct in-depth testing and data analysis to ensure product quality, safety, and performance, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and the continuous improvement of laboratory processes. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Execute appliance testing on safety, functionality, performance, and energy consumption, in accordance with reference standards, independently. Contribute to the definition and application of the test plan checklist and test methods for the Functionality, Performance, Compliance & Sustainability areas, in accordance with reference standards and internal guidelines. Prepare manuals for the applicable test methods. Ensure diagnostic capabilities to identify and resolve root causes of appliance failures detected during testing activities or quality issue analysis. Perform reporting activities, including calculations, report issuance, and information tracking. Ensure proper maintenance and care of testing equipment and facilities in accordance with internal procedures. Interface with compliance & sustainability teams and notified bodies for certification activities. Participate in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Product Safety Risk Assessment teams. Ability to organize the work schedule according to priorities. Apply the Kaizen approach in daily activities.
