Reporting to the R&D Director, you will work on key projects contributing to the development of innovative solutions, with a strong focus on quality, performance, and industrialization.
Key responsibilities:
* Mechanical design and development: 3D and 2D modeling of components and assemblies
* Definition of technical solutions: material selection and design optimization
* Continuous improvement: analysis of existing products to reduce costs and improve performance
* Technical documentation management: BOM, drawings, and PLM systems
* Industrialization: liaising with suppliers and assessing manufacturing feasibility
* Cross-functional collaboration: working with Quality, Production, and Purchasing
* Product testing and validation: assembly, dimensional checks, and life cycle testing
* Compliance and regulations: supporting validation activities and regulatory compliance
* Technical documentation and communication: internal and external (customers)
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* 4 years of experience in Technical Department / R&D / industrialization
* Excellent knowledge of English
* Strong knowledge of 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and 2D CAD
* Solid understanding of technical drawing and tolerances
* Experience with BOM management and PLM systems
* Knowledge of main manufacturing technologies (machining, plastic molding, xrdztoy sheet metal, casting)
* Team-oriented mindset
* Results-driven approach
Nice to have:
* Knowledge of hydraulic systems (pumps, solenoid valves, CO2 circuits, MOCA materials)
* Knowledge of refrigeration systems (compression cycle, R290/R600a, heat exchangers, ice bank systems)
* Familiarity with EN 60335 standards
* Experience in product testing and validation

Salary: €30,000 – €35,000 gross per year
