Production Planning Expert
The Perfect Fit
We are looking for a skilled Production Planning Expert who can develop and manage production plans, optimize resource utilization, and support initiatives aimed at improving industrial performance.
Main Responsibilities
* Optimize production planning processes to meet customer demands and improve lead times.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of production schedules.
* Analyze and adjust production schedules as needed to respond to changes in demand, resource availability, or unexpected challenges.
* Identify potential risks related to shortages and escalate them to the leadership team.
* Communicate effectively with commercial branches regarding delivery dates, product availability, and readiness for shipping.
* Align daily production with the Operations Manager and Production Supervisor.
* Ensure accurate reporting and timely submission of one-shot reports and monthly KPIs.
* Implement Configure-to-Order Production from order management to execution (MPS Plans, What-If Scenarios, Production Plans, Independent Demand Management, effective execution finding countermeasures if needed).
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring aligned production schedules with customer delivery requirements and meeting fabric's turnover goals.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Previous experience in production planning or a similar role, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing industry and configure-to-order management (minimum 2 years).
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
* Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems: Oracle).
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Familiarity with main demand management techniques is an asset.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
