Are you an experienced implementation engineer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and working directly with customers? We're looking for a Senior Implementation Engineer to join our Customer Solutions & Delivery team in Dublin, reporting to the Technical Program Manager, Customer Solutions & Delivery. In this role, you will lead high-impact deployments that help customers secure, optimize, and monetize their communication services.Role and Key ResponsibilitiesThis role is based in Dublin and focuses on end-to-end implementation and integration of Enea application software in customer environments and Enea-hosted platforms. You will work across architecture design, installation, configuration, testing, training, and launch, while also helping improve deployment practices across the team.Some customer work is delivered remotely, although travel to customer sites may be required from time to time.Key Responsibilities
Lead software implementation and integration projects in customer environments and Enea-hosted platforms.Translate customer requirements into practical technical designs, deployment plans, and implementation outcomes.Resolve complex functional, configuration, and integration issues with customers and internal stakeholders.Act as the technical lead on complex deployments, including projects involving new products or innovative feature development.Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation, configuration, testing, and launch, with a focus on sustainable root‐cause resolution.Deliver clear technical communication and structured training to customer teams and project stakeholders.Support continuous improvement by contributing to reusable deployment frameworks, knowledge sharing, and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
Required QualificationsQualifications, Key Skills and Competence
BSc (Hons) or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Five to ten years of experience in a technical implementation, integration, or deployment role. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.Hands‐on experience with Linux and large‐scale integrated application environments.Solid working knowledge of several relevant technologies, such as Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, IP networking, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Python, or Bash.Proven ability to lead technical delivery, manage complex issues, and build confidence with customer stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a global, fast‐paced customer delivery environment.Exposure to messaging, signalling, or voice technologies.Experience with observability, automation, and performance optimization in production environments.A structured approach to decision‐making, problem‐solving, and risk management.Experience mentoring junior or mid‐level engineers and improving team delivery practices.Strong analytical skills and the ability to balance technical depth with clear customer communication.
