AI PROJECT MANAGER & LEAD ENGINEER
For our client, a multinational industrial company operating in the automotive and filtration sector, we are looking for an:
The role, reporting directly to the Group Chief Information Officer, will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives within the organization, combining project management, solution architecture, and hands‑on technical development.
The position will play a key role in translating business needs into scalable and production‑ready AI solutions, ensuring measurable impact across different functions including Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
The resource will coordinate international and cross‑functional teams, driving the adoption of AI technologies and contributing to the evolution of the company’s digital transformation strategy within a complex industrial environment.
Role
* Collect, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders and operational functions
* Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
* Define project roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for AI initiatives
* Coordinate international teams and ensure alignment across different locations and development streams
* Monitor project progress, risks, and performance, ensuring timely execution and delivery
* Design scalable end-to-end AI solutions, including data flows, system integration, and AI/ML model orchestration
* Define and promote technical standards, best practices, and development governance
* Actively contribute to technical development activities, including AI APIs, services, data pipelines, and LLM-based applications
* Support engineers on complex technical challenges and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
* Promote code reusability, maintainability, and documentation standards across teams
* Ensure effective deployment and adoption of AI solutions within the organization
* Monitor and report KPIs related to efficiency improvements, cost optimization, and quality enhancement initiatives
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the continuous evolution of AI capabilities and digital innovation initiatives
Requirments
* At least 5 years of experience in IT, digital transformation, and AI-related roles
* Strong experience in project management and coordination of complex technological initiatives
* Advanced knowledge of Python and experience with API development frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or .NET
* Good understanding of AI/ML models, architectures, and AI solution integration
* Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
* Strong knowledge of SQL and data management practices
* Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
* Strong stakeholder management skills within international and multicultural environments
* Hands‑on mindset combined with strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilitiesExperience in industrial or manufacturing environments will be considered a strong plus
* Fluent English knowledge is required
