In order to accelerate the next phase of Amazon Advertising’s development we are committed to transforming the depth, scale and ambition of our partnerships with media agencies and marketing partners.Amazon Advertising is looking for a senior leader to hire, lead and develop the Agencies (Holdco) business relationship.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior business development leader to join the team to accelerate Amazon Advertising’s strategic agency partnerships in Mexico.

This is a senior, customer‑facing position requiring a consultative style that focuses on leading Amazon’s relationships with key agency partners in Mexico.

The right candidate will be a dynamic and sales‑oriented professional, possess an analytical mindset and be comfortable with complex data sets whilst displaying excellence at relationship development.

You will be empowered to develop and roll‑out strategies that evolve how Amazon and agencies interact.

You will be a thought‑leader in this space and a confident presenter of those ideas.

You will empower agencies by consulting on how to leverage Amazon’s proprietary data, measurement, and technology to deliver meaningful business outcomes for advertisers.

You will drive product innovation by collecting detailed feedback from external partners and sharing it with internal Amazon teams.

Advertising agencies and programmatic media in particular are evolving rapidly – the ability to thrive in this exciting and fluid environment will be critical to the success of this role.

The ideal candidate should have management experience and be able to grow and develop a high performing team over time.ResponsibilitiesOwn relationships with key agency senior partners while developing and executing business plans which drive long‑term growth and adoption of Amazon Advertising’s tools and productsDevelop and manage a detailed engagement strategy to C‑Levels and deliver periodic business reviews to key agency stakeholders to illuminate and drive new business opportunitiesLead education and enablement of key agency functions including delivery of training, roadshows, summits and other agency‑wide eventsCollaborate with agency decision‑makers and Amazon Advertising sales teams to drive development of specific advertiser accountsListen intently to agency feedback on business alignment and usability of the Amazon DSP, organize and share that feedback with product teams, and collaborate with Product Management to drive scalable changes through to completionDevelop and execute a customer‑led growth strategy for use of the Amazon DSPBasic QualificationsSignificant experience on director roles at Media Agencies HoldcosSignificant experience in ad sales or e‑commerceBachelor’s degree or equivalentDemonstrated ability to consistently hit revenue goalsProven track record of high‑level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship managementProven Data‑led abilitiesAbility to interact with a broad set of businessesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, clear attention to detail, and bar‑raising follow‑through skillsPreferred QualificationsSignificant experience on director roles at Media Agencies HoldcosSignificant experience in ad sales or e‑commerceBachelor’s degree or equivalentDemonstrated ability to consistently hit revenue goalsProven track record of high‑level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship – Team PlayerAbility to work effectively with multiple stakeholders from various teams and based in different countriesHumble and able to lead by example and to create a positive work environmentAbility to simplify complex situations to identify key strategic priorities for the teamAbility to delegate to give opportunities to others to grow and shineOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
