This position acts in compliance to drug, medical device, and local regulations. Ensures quality processes are maintained through the implementation of procedures, training, and regular inspections. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsures all staff is trained in their respective job functions, including GMP. /li liWrites and revises Standard Operating Procedures as required. /li liConducts regular inspections of the facility and recordkeeping, including summarization and reporting of findings. Coordinate or assist with corrective actions and preventative measures. /li liCommunicates with clients and provides information during external audits. /li liLiaises with Health Canada officials during regulatory audits. /li liProvides feedback and assistance to Customer/Client QA related questions and concerns. /li liMonitors the processes and systems within the Department to ensure regulatory compliance and effective operation. /li liInvestigates discrepancies and problems, and advises the appropriate individuals of the findings. /li liAssists in development of pro-active strategies as a preemptive measure against potential future problems with systems or processes. /li liCompletes NCR reports and change control requests and provides necessary follow-up. /li liPerforms maintenance, support, and continuous improvements of Quality Systems. /li liQPIC designation duties. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liPharmaceutical, healthcare or food industry experience - Preferred /li liQuality Assurance experience - Preferred /li liBachelor’s Degree in Science related field (or internationally comparable degree) required - Preferred /li liQPIC/AQPIC designation - Preferred /li /ul h3Employee Type /h3 pPermanent /p pUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
