That started 75 years ago with a dream of two brothers in Maassluis (The Netherlands). Since then, we have been an innovative leader in automated systems for dairy farmers around the world. Together we have the goal: to make dairy farming interesting for the next generation.
Our cluster is in Colturano (MI) and it supports the distribution network of Lely Centers in South-East Europe and Turkey. We are a young and enthusiastic team, consisting of 40 people distributed between Colturano office and Istanbul branch office.
Role
FMS (Farm Management Support) advisors have one goal: guiding its customers through the transition to automated milking or feeding and optimizing results.
The Lely Cluster Farm Management Support Specialist supports and trains in the most practical way the Lely Center FMS Advisors in the correct start‑up and the best use of Lely propositions to achieve customer objectives. He or she ensures that these services meet the Lely standard.
It is her or him purpose to ensure effective communication between Lely International – Lely Cluster – Lely Center.
Key responsibilities
Provide training, coach on the job, give support, guide and share Lely research with the LC FMS colleagues according to the FMS career plan to let them become the skilled advisors for their Lely farmers.
You are the second line support between farmers and Lely. Your FMS LC colleagues can escalade (critical) issues to you.
Qualifications
* You have successfully completed university studies in Animal or Agricultural Science.
* Knowledge in agriculture and experiences about farming.
* You speak, write and present in English and Italian fluently.
* Be able to work in a dynamic, multicultural and international team.
* Excellent communications and organizational skills, good listener and public speaking, open minded attitude and proactive approach.
* High initiative, ability and ambition to create and cultivate strong partnerships, you are a motivator to inspire people.
