Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 38,900 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact. /p pFor Platforms we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic RSC Regional Platform Cost Competitiveness Manager at Savigliano site in Italy. /p h3Purpose of the job /h3 ul liEnsuring the completeness of the reference library and its continuous monitoring versus QCD objectives /li liManaging competitiveness plans on the platform’s products, reference libraries and reference solutions: driving during product development, implementation during tender preparation, monitoring during project execution /li liSupport pre-tendering / tendering activities and start of projects with reference libraries. /li liCollecting ROE on relevant Projects /li /ul h3Key accountabilities /h3 ul liCompetitiveness on Ref Lib /li liSupport the Product / or Solution manager in building, driving and permanently challenging the Reference Library on QCD aspects: allocate and follow the cost target achievement per contributor, update the Ref Lib with cost improvement confirmed /li liCoordinate, on behalf of the Product / or Solution manager, competitiveness action plans with all métiers: build and present business cases of new competitiveness actions /li liSupport the Product / or Solution manager on demand for any costing activity (including quick costing at pre-tendering phase …) /li /ul pPrepare and present Ref Lib reviews (with Competitiveness Director and Ref Lib manager), according to the standards and the calendar defined. /p ul liCompetitiveness on Tenders and Projects /li liOn support to the Platform cost manager (when existing) /li liSupport the Platform at pre tendering and tendering stage in assessing on demand quick costing, target costs, target allocation to stakeholders (“top down” approach) using Ref Lib costing data /li liHold reviews with bid cost managers to check QCD offering is aligned with Ref Lib /li liMonitor the gaps between Ref Lib and Tender solution, and propose new competitiveness action plan to reach the target cost /li liSupport to Projects on cost analysis, competitiveness action plan (task force, assessment, Design to cost activities…) /li liReturn of experience /li liParticipate to analysis / benchmark of competition offering with Platform Market Portfolio director /li liIn coordination with the Platform members, ensure that the ROE of projects is integrated into the Ref Lib (cost, planning, etc) and reorient action plan if needed /li /ul h3Performance measurements /h3 ul liProgress of Competitiveness action plan: volume / number of competitiveness actions proposed, progress of actions /li liCost monitoring of Ref Libs, and delivery on time /li liQuality of Reference Library presentation /li /ul h3Educational Requirements /h3 pMandatory: Engineering degree and / or Business School. /p h3Experience /h3 pMandatory: Minimum 5 years of experience in industry. /p h3Desirable /h3 ul liExperience in Railway industry /li liKnowledgeable of Costing, or Engineering, or Sourcing in similar industry /li liExperience in Design To Cost /li /ul h3Competencies Skills /h3 h3Technical /h3 ul libProject Management and / or Industry background /b /li liAbility to recognize product and associated costs, and understand operational flows (engineering, manufacturing, industrial, etc) /li liUnderstanding of basic enterprise internal processes: Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Quality and their interfaces… /li liSufficient awareness of financial rules and contractual aspects (bonds guarantees, …) /li liGood communication skill (presentations, synthesis, relationship with contributors ...) /li liComfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment /li liFluent in English: spoken and written /li /ul h3Behavioural /h3 ul liResults and data driven, Design to Cost spirit /li liRigorous, able to give structure to a collective team work /li liLeadership to achieve results and benefits /li liCollaborative management, facilitating team working, able to drive a collective team work /li liComfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment /li liAbility to deliver on-time /li liTransparency, autonomy, anticipation, initiative, reactivity /li /ul pTraining to be performed: Alstom financial rules, Design To Cost (for RSC) /p pAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
