We’re looking for a passionate and skilled: Technical Service Specialist: Why This Role Matters: As a Technical Service Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—ensuring our diagnostic instruments perform at their best to support accurate and timely patient care. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and upgrading our systems, supporting installations, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. What You’ll Do: - Be the first line of support for Abbott Ambassadors, resolving service issues efficiently (under 4 hours labor time). - Plan and execute maintenance activities to ensure optimal instrument performance. - Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations, contributing to seamless transitions for our clients. - Support hardware and software upgrades (TSBs) to keep systems up to date. How Success is Measured: - Customer satisfaction (NPS) - Achievement of service KPIs: - Contribution to economic growth and profitability in your district What We’re Looking For: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in: - Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Biotechnology, or Clinical Engineering - 2-3 years of experience in a similar technical service role - Proven ability to engage with lab staff and healthcare professionals: - Strong technical expertise in diagnostic instruments - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills: - Proficiency in analytical tools and software Why Abbott?: At Abbott, you’ll be part of a company that values innovation, integrity, and impact.
