For more information about Modine, visit /p h3Position Description /h3 ul liActual results analysis and month end closing support /li liForecasting and Planning /li liOperational Reporting and Analysis /li liCapital Investment Analysis /li liBusiness line profitability analysis /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liMonth-end closing process by analyzing actual results, highlighting unusual trends, providing valuation or journal entry support as needed and proposing and implementing actions to support strategy target. /li liSupport and prepare the monthly forecast and annual plan. Ensure timely submission of deliverables. /li liMaintain, optimize and develop operational reporting and support the analyses for monthly performance review. /li liSupport the management team to generate cost reduction ideas, including savings through negotiations, resourcing and technical changes to reach the target. /li liSupport for product costing and inventory valuation. Understand current product costs and drive enhancements to product profitability information. /li liSupport quotation activity and provide profitability and volumes analysis. /li liOversee accounting controls related to inventory and costing. /li liEnsure compliance with relevant Financial Standard Practices (FSPs). /li liSupport capital investment decisions via payback analysis. /li /ul h3Required Education Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum of 2 years of experience in controlling in manufacturing accounting environment. /li liStrong background in financial analysis, forecasting, cost accounting and plant bookkeeping. /li liGood understanding of the overall business processes (operations, sales, logistics and business segments). /li liStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and communicate effectively with various levels of the organization and work by objectives with strict deadlines. /li liSolid working knowledge of accounting rules (either IFRS or US GAAP). /li liIT knowledge of international ERP systems (like Microsoft Dynamics, Golden Lake, SAP, etc..) and office pack (Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint). /li liGraduated in economics and business administration /li liProficiency level in English and Italian /li liTravel required 10% to 20% /li /ul pModine is an equal opportunity employer.
