Job Title: Avionics Systems Engineer
Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Avionics Systems Engineer to join our team in Turin. As an Avionics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, validating, and certifying complex onboard systems for aircraft and space applications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing and executing automated test procedures based on software and system requirements
* Using specialized tools or programming languages to define test sequences
* Configuring test environments and hardware setups (target platforms)
* Supporting validation campaigns and system integration activities
* Participating in certification reviews, technical meetings, and reporting sessions
* Interfacing with software developers, system engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure requirements coverage and compliance
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing strategies and engineering workflow
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related STEM field
* Basic understanding of embedded systems and software testing principles
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
* Passion for the aerospace and aviation industries
* Strong team spirit and adaptability in a client-facing environment
Nice-to-Have:
* Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., DO-178C) or certification processes
* Experience with scripting or programming (Python, C/C++, or similar)
* Knowledge of tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, or test automation frameworks
