Ph3Job Description /h3 pDatalogic is looking for a bGeneral Manager /b for its Solution Business Unit to drive and expand its related business at a global level and across all industry segments in which it operates. The Solution Business Unit is a key strategic investment area for the company, with the ambitious plan of expanding software capabilities, ensuring that our customers get more integrated, versatile solutions that address their unique needs. Whether through collaboration with internal hardware teams or by developing independent software products, the BU is committed to providing solutions that deliver greater value and keep your business competitive. /p h3ROLE MISSION /h3 pHe/she will be in charge of managing the BU at global level, defining and executing the global Solution strategy, covering product development, go-to-market, sales, and partnerships, also playing a pivotal role in providing inputs and ideas to develop successful and innovative products, in order to successfully boost the revenues and margins across all the industries. The position reports directly to the VP of Data Capture Products Solutions and will have cross-functional scope across both the DC and IA Divisions. The role requires a hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to lead both strategy and day‑to‑day execution. /p h3KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES /h3 ul liDefine the Solutions Roadmap for each main end-user market, designing and executing proper go-to-market model, pricing and sales strategy in collaboration with the Global Sales VPs of Data Capture. /li liExecute the plan with the aim of maximizing related revenues and margins of the BU, increasing the global market share. /li liAct as the voice of the market, anticipating customers’ needs and driving the product portfolio evolution in line with the end users and their needs. /li liContribute to establish and strengthen key partnerships with Partners, Resellers, Distributors and ISV /li liLead a team of approximately 30 professionals across the following functions, all reporting to the General Manager of the Solution Business Unit: RD, Program Management, Product Marketing, Technical Support /li liOwn the Solution BU’s full PL and be accountable for financial targets, including revenue, margin, and investments. /li liInfluence top management to drive high-level investment decisions, e.g. in Sales and RD. /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul li10+ experience in mid-to large organizations, mainly from the areas of Sales, Product Management and General Management /li liA strong background in B2B industry and tech companies; experience in industrial automation, retail or transportation logistics verticals is highly preferred /li liWide exposure to international roles in complex organizations; management of PL highly preferred /li liConfidence in leading resources in matrix organizations /li liEducation (School/Specialization): Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Management or related fields /li liPrimary Language: Fluent English /li /ul h3LEADERSHIP SKILLS /h3 ul liHunter mentality, demonstrating relentless commitment to customer engagement and relationship building /li liStrong personal leadership to drive a globally distributed organization and effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders /li liCommercial and customer service mindset to drive, motivate, and support sales teams while ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders /li liSelf-starter with a goal-oriented approach, capable of managing workload effectively and identifying the right priorities /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
