Ph3Overview /h3pbMain Purpose of the role /bbr/The Global Quality and Food Safety Supplier Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety across our global supply chain. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and food safety programs for suppliers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. For all relevant suppliers, this role must ensure compliance with PVM quality and food safety requirements, PVM policies / procedures and relevant regulations. /ppThis role reports to Quality Food Safety Director. /ph3What you will do /h3ulliDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and food safety programs across the global supply chain; /liliDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and food safety across the global supply chain; /liliMonitor and analyze supplier performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement; /liliConduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards including Group Policies; /liliRisk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier quality and food Safety; develop and implement risk management strategies; /liliProvide training and support to suppliers and internal teams on quality and food safety standards and best practices; /liliMaintain and further develop the Global Supplier Database; /liliWork closely with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Supply Chain, Regulatory and RD, to ensure alignment on quality and food safety objectives; /liliEnsure proper communication of QFS requirements to suppliers and internally; /liliManage complaint linked to suppliers; /liliManage requests raised by authorities linked to suppliers; /liliProactively identify and suggest improvements in established standards; /liliPromote a QFS Culture towards suppliers. /li /ulh3Our Perfect Candidate /h3ulliDegree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field; /liliAt least 5 years experience in quality and food safety, preferably in the food industry in a global supply chain context; /liliStrong knowledge of quality assurance and food safety standards and regulations; /liliExperience and strong knowledge in Supplier Quality (approval, performance evaluations, audits; agreements, Material specifications…); /liliCertified auditor certificate is a plus; /liliStrong leadership skills to drive quality and food safety initiatives across the organization; /liliExcellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to successfully negotiate, communicate and drive the business; /liliA true relationship builder with suppliers, customers, colleagues and strategic partners as well as with internal teams; /liliSpeak and write English fluently; /liliHigh degree of self-organization and detail-orientation; /liliProject Management skills; /liliDeal well with high complexity and change; /liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills. /li /ulpHere in Perfetti Van Melle there is a culture of respect and valorization of diversity.
