This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong engineering and modeling background, complementary to battery scientists and chemists, who can bridge experimental testing with data analysis and simulation.The Battery Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing battery tests, developing models to interpret battery behavior, and supporting the R&D team with quantitative insights. While prior experience in battery assembly is not required, the candidate should be comfortable working hands-on in a laboratory environment. Training will be provided for battery assembly, disassembly, and test procedures.ResponsibilitiesRFB cell assembly, testing and data analysisSupport battery modeling activities, including shunt current modeling and system-level analysisCollaborate closely with battery scientists, chemists, and R&D engineersSupport laboratory-scale R&D activitiesQualificationsMSc in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or similar)Familiar with Matlab/Simulink or Open ModelicaAbility to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary R&D teamGood written and verbal communication skills (english)
