Acting as Solution Architect, designs comprehensive technology solutions that address specific business needs and company development and innovation, transforming strategic goals in implementation plans, identifying new solutions for the target market. Works closely with Commercial and Consultancy functions and MDs to support sales and presales processes. Maintains collaboration within the departments and across the Technology Business Unit. Requirements: - ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Anticipate customer needs acting as promoter of innovation liaising with MDs, other executives and directors - Design comprehensive technology solutions that address specific business needs - Transform strategic goals in implementation plans and align the Business Unit priorities to the strategy. Adapts the implementation plans to the market needs. Assure the business goals cascade in the department. - Identify product and services useful to reach strategic business goals and in line with market needs. - Identify the business processes and KPIs to ensure department efficiencies and efficacy. - Ensure Business Unit resources (people, tools, competencies) necessary are available to achieve business goals - Ensure the respect of contractual terms and that systems, processes and projects are provided in accordance with the defined service levels. - Ensure collaborators' continuous professional development. Identifiy values and retain talents. - PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE- At least 5 years of experience as IT Manager and/or Software Development Manager and/or Solution Architect in the Life Science sector - Extensive experience in solution architecture, design and implementation, with a focus on life sciences or healthcare, in particular in the R&D lifecycle (Clinical, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Quality Assurance) - Information and Business Technology processes cross-functional the R&D area: Data Management and/or Pharmacovigilance and/or Clinical Trials and/or Regulatory Affairs - Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements - Familiarity with market leader business technologies for R&D (e.g. Veeva, ArisG, Oracle, Medidata, SAS, etc) - Analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret complex processes and systems
