We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and operations of those assets. We are looking to fill a critical role of Senior Procurement Manager. /ppIn alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliManage and oversee supplier labor management in coordination with General Contractor, Scheduling Teams, and Internal Planning Teams to align schedules and deliverables. /liliManage schedule compliance and escalations from field team to support installation and Cx activities as required to drive efficiencies between supplier and general contractor. /liliNegotiate and manage change orders for overtime, schedule compression, and acceleration as needed. /li /ulh3Change Order Management /h3ulliLead change orders after CDEs Tech Submittals are complete with suppliers before construction begins. /liliMonitor and mitigate the impact of change orders to the project, and partner cross-functionally to resolve or escalate accordingly. /liliAttend management meetings post-delivery to ensure change orders for additional equipment are executed promptly. /liliAct as the commercial Subject Matter Expert and prescribe appropriate entitlement and justification for all change orders. /liliNegotiate claims with a detailed understanding of contractual conditions and partner with regional claims teams to settle or escalate. /li /ulh3Material Management Quality Assurance /h3ulliFacilitate the delivery and inspection of MEP/OFCI equipment once delivered to site, including sign-offs. /liliManage the receiving process of supplier equipment on site and response time to defect resolution related to quality issues. /liliEnsure alignment on design changes post-IFC to support procurement and engineering teams. /liliCoordinate project design information, specifications, compliance documents, and technical submittals. /liliMonitor compliance of the GC’s CFCI process such as material receiving, inspection, custody, and preservation. /liliManage site-specific delivery scheduling, on-time delivery performance, and reporting. /liliCommunicate scheduling delays to relevant stakeholders. /liliOversee site-specific LLE performance and collaborate with partners to resolve issues proactively. /liliManage technical risk related to design timelines and service level agreements. /liliAct as liaison between supplier, engineers, architects, and supply chain teams for complex post-award design alignment. /li /ulpThe role partners with the broader Global Supply Chain teams to meet on-time delivery for large, complex capital projects. Responsibilities include strategy development, supplier selection, contract management, and ensuring compliance. /ph3Qualifications /h3ulliRequired: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; experience in Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations. /liliPreferred: Degree in technical or financial fields; hyperscale data center or large building construction experience; knowledge of data center industry; ability to lead project teams and define risks; high energy and results-driven attitude; technical contract writing and sourcing skills. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
