Industrial Automation Engineer - stage Cernusco S/N
We are seeking an Industrial Automation Engineer to join a "Training for the job" program, aimed at permanent employment within the company.
We offer a 3-month full-time training internship designed to equip you with all the necessary skills to excel as an Industrial Automation Engineer.
You will be immersed in practical projects, supported by experienced professionals. Specifically, during the training period, you will:
* Complete 240 hours on the fundamentals of industrial automation, tools, and PLC programming.
* Spend 120 hours on high-level programming, development techniques, and best practices in Software Engineering.
* Dedicate 120 hours to designing, developing, and testing a dedicated project to consolidate and unify the skills acquired in previous modules.
The internship also includes 4-hour sessions on:
* Designing and formalizing functional specifications
* Modeling with Finite State Machines
* Reading and understanding electrical diagrams
* Version control with Git
Upon completing the training, you will be placed in one of our teams at one of our locations:
* Piazza Maestri del Lavoro, 7, 20063 Cernusco S/N, MI
* Via Progresso, 40/42, 40064 Ozzano dell'Emilia, BO
* Viale Ancona 53, 30172 Mestre, VE
You will be involved in activities such as:
* Writing and designing PLC control logic in structured text
* Designing fail-safe logic (ST + LD)
* Configuring and using motion control functions
* Programming Robots
* Writing high-level code (C# / Java / Python) to interface machinery with acquisition systems, implement Computer Vision algorithms, and develop user interfaces
* Supporting machine and plant startup software
* Providing remote or on-site software troubleshooting assistance

Required qualifications:
* Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering or related fields (Informatics, Telecommunications, Electronics)
* Strong problem-solving and reverse engineering skills
* Knowledge of English language
