Position Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Support to join our team based in Pomezia (Rome).
He/she will performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairing procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.
Duties
1. Performing minor, major and emergency repairs of all buildings and equipment;
2. Performing preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical and electrical equipment;
3. Inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings, seals, etc.;
4. Calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems;
5. Monitoring and analysis of water purification system;
6. Completing daily, weekly and monthly checklists on equipment maintenance procedures and maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures;
7. Asking quotes of supplies and replacement parts upon need;
8. Supervising external suppliers.
Education Degree
High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
* 3 years of experience in building, mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience;
* Good manual skills and ability to use electrical tools;
* Ability to learn and comprehend the fundamentals of the functioning of machines;
* Understanding of hydraulic systems;
* Understanding of circuit diagrams;
* Ability to clarify general maintenance requirements and simple procedures of different kinds of equipment;
* Ability to lift up to 25kg.
This position requires knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties involved, including regular communications outside the province of Quebec, training, email communications, and frequent meetings and interactions with English- only employees.
