We are currently seeking a Thermal Modeling Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy. Vertiv is seeking a thermal engineer to support the development of its global thermal rating tool. In this role, you will be working with a diverse team of engineers in creating and maintaining thermodynamic models of Vertiv’s HVAC products to support the global Sales and Design teams. What kind of work will you be doing? Write accurate yet fast solving mathematical models of HVAC components such as evaporators, condensers, compressors, fluid connections, fans, pumps, etc., using physics-based equations Code efficient and stable algorithms to simulate performance of single/multi-circuit HVAC systems such as chilled-water, air-cooled, water-cooled, chiller, pumped refrigeration, etc. Develop and maintain a library of heat
