Join to apply for the Strategic Buyer OEM role at GEA Group. In this role, you will act as the first procurement point of contact for stakeholders involved in projects supported by your team. Responsibilities / Tasks Sourcing Manage tactical sourcing activities for supported projects within agreed thresholds with procurement leadership or category managers. Handle low-spend contracting with vendors, focusing on general terms & conditions or simplified agreements within the category strategy scope. Ensure project adherence to category strategies and utilization of preferred suppliers. Purchase Requisition, Purchasing & Order Processing Process purchase requisitions and orders; follow up on order confirmations and expedite as necessary. Resolve issues with requestors and suppliers; provide feedback to procurement leaders regarding requisitions outside framework agreements. Serve as the primary contact for vendors in daily operations. Invoice Processing & Master Data Management Support invoice mismatch resolution, based on entity setup. Maintain local vendor and raw material master data as needed. Project Interactions Coordinate with project management, engineering, and planning teams to capture relevant procurement inputs. Request sourcing support from strategic buyers and category managers for relevant scopes. Participate early in sales phases and in later project stages, sharing procurement updates through various project forums. Collaborate with logistics teams to monitor risks, costs, and lead times related to transport and import/export activities. Your Profile / Qualifications Minimum 3 years of procurement experience. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and procurement processes. Knowledge of international contract management and negotiation. Experience in implementing corporate procurement strategies and working within complex organizational structures. Strong analytical, strategic, and tactical thinking skills. Fluent in English; excellent communication and intercultural skills. Ability to build relationships across sites and work effectively in a matrix organization.
