Position: IT Business Analyst As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of business and functional requirements, including gathering requirements from stakeholders, defining and designing these requirements, aligning and prioritizing them based on the product vision, and monitoring development through the appropriate methodology. You will oversee software implementation iterations, ensuring practices, rules, and values are understood and behaviors are compliant with Trace One's methodology. You will also ensure that goals, scope, and the product domain are clearly understood by all project team members. Key Responsibilities Lead workshop sessions with customers to capture and document requirements effectively. Manage multiple projects simultaneously according to statements of work. Deliver system design elements, including data migration rules, business rules, and prototypes. Collaborate with project managers, product teams, regulatory, and other departments to design solutions that meet project constraints. Design solutions in conjunction with the Enterprise Solution Architect, including creating Business Blueprint documents. Refine and document detailed user requirements to provide clarity for development and QA teams. Work with project teams to enforce best practices and optimize core product reuse by refining requirements with Professional Services and end customers when appropriate. Validate products during development phases following the defined methodology. Support QA testing processes, including the development of user acceptance criteria. Assist in training efforts across various departments. Provide expertise in PLM solutions and support business case development for innovations. Support sales and pre-sales teams with RFIs and RFPs as needed. Coordinate with third-party entities such as system integrators and consultants. Core Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing. Ability to conduct software demonstrations and communicate effectively at both business and technical levels. Proactive leader capable of facilitating requirement gathering sessions. Quick learner of new products, systems, and technologies. Strong collaboration skills with internal and external clients. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel for requirement gathering and other project needs. Experience in PLM software implementations, preferably in the food & beverage industry. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Educational and Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in functional requirements, use cases, business process modeling, and related diagrams, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry. Knowledge of the full SDLC. Experience with software design and modeling tools such as UML. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
