Overview
SLIMPA SPA is looking for an
Engineer, Control System
to join the Electrical R&D; department based in Cadrezzate con Osmate (VA).
The candidate will manage and plan projects according to Business Line and platform roadmaps to ensure key customer benefit, product cost, quality, reliability, competitiveness, time-to-market and disturbance-free operational processes, and will ensure globally harmonized platforms, minimizing variants and components needed.
The candidate will have a deep knowledge of the tools and applications built around the platform to maintain existing product configurations, develop new releases of the product and plan future developments of the product according to the business needs.
The candidate will also ensure the quality and the reliability of the platform and address any quality problems if needed.
They will take care of the design of electrical components and electrification wiring diagrams using CAD tools.
The candidate will have a great opportunity to move towards more customer-driven activities and act as a business partner.
Professional requirements:
Responsibilities
Manage and plan projects according to Business Line and platform roadmaps to ensure customer agevolazioni, cost, quality, reliability, and time-to-market.
Maintain existing product configurations and develop new releases and future product developments.
Ensure quality and reliability of the platform and address quality problems as needed.
Design electrical components and electrification wiring diagrams using CAD tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business needs and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Automation engineering
Product/project management background
Italian language is preferred
Fluent English
Basic knowledge of programming languages and APIs is a plus
Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) is a plus
Leadership: inspire, energize and coach the team
Collaboration: establish strong working relationships and effective internal/external network
Negotiation skills
Product Change Management
Electrical CAD knowledge is a plus
Ability to work in a multicultural team is a must
