Role Overview
We are looking for a Process Engineer to support the preparation, update and continuous improvement of vehicle assembly processes at the Melfi Plant.
The resource will act as a front-end technical interface on the shop floor, ensuring proper monitoring of assembly phases and supporting data collection related to requests, reports, anomalies or process issues within the plant.
An initial training and onboarding period is foreseen.
Main Responsibilities
* Preparation and updating of vehicle assembly process documentation
* Follow-up of vehicle assembly phases across different stations (UTE – Elementary Technological Units)
* Monitoring of assembly systems installed on vehicle
* Acting as front-end technical reference between production and engineering
* Collection and analysis of data related to process issues, deviations or improvement requests
* Support problem-solving activities on assembly line
* Ensure alignment between engineering documentation and shop-floor execution
* Participation in continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Automotive assembly processes
* Good understanding of vehicle assembly flow and plant organization
* Ability to work directly on the shop floor
* Experience in process monitoring and issue management
* Knowledge of CATIA (drawing reading and verification level)
* Familiarity with EX-PSA processes and PLM systems is highly appreciated
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills to interact with production teams
Education
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field
