Worldwide, around 950 employees contribute to our success.Short OverviewIn this role, you will take ownership of strategic purchasing activities for selected product categories, actively shape supplier relationships on an international level, and contribute to product development projects with a strong focus on cost efficiency, supply security, and long‐term value creation.Your Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies for assigned material groups and supplier categoriesAnalyze international procurement markets and identify new sourcing opportunitiesSelect, evaluate, and develop suppliers in close cooperation with Quality Management and R&DLead price, contract, and framework negotiations with national and international suppliersEnsure supply chain resilience by identifying and mitigating procurement risksSupport product development projects from an early stage with purchasing expertiseDrive cost optimization initiatives and identify efficiency potential across the supply chainParticipate in make‐or‐buy decisions and cross‐functional improvement projectsMaintain relevant master data in the ERP system and create purchasing analyses and reportsContribute to process improvements and purchasing‐related digitalization initiatives
Your Profile
Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualificationSeveral years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships internationallyGood understanding of supply chain processes and cost structuresExcellent ERP knowledge; advanced MS Office skills requiredFluent English skills, both written and spokenAnalytical mindset, proactive working style, and strong ownership mentalityAbility to work effectively across departments and cultures
