In the role of Support Engineer, reporting to IT Service Manager -Italy, you will focus on IT support and user support. This includes the operation of our IT systems at production and other locations. As part of your work, you will support other IT teams in the area of fault diagnosis, installations, maintenance and thus strengthen our on-site IT team.You will be responsible to:Be the first contact for users regarding all IT inquiriesCreate incidents and handle incidents and requests for applications, hardware, network, and all IT servicesProcess IT changes - plan changes and implement them on timeIdentifying and applying sustainable solutionsSupport of other IT teams within SappiRegular monthly on-call serviceYour ProfilePassion, interest and talent for this field of information technologySuccessfully completed IT technical education (University Degree or other high school level education with a focus on IT or corresponding practice/experience)Practical and basic knowledge in some of the following technical areas: end devices (PCs, notebooks, printers...), network (switches, access points, cabling...)Basic knowledge in the field of Windows and network technologiesVery good knowledge of Italian and EnglishFlexibility, discretion and a sense of confidentialitySelf-motivating, proactive personality, creativity, high willingness to learn new thingsVery good analysis and problem-solving skills (troubleshooting)Independent and communicative working style within the support teamWillingness to travel on a case-by-case basis
