Ph3Position Overview /h3pThe Space Production Mechanical Engineer (AIT) will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for satellites. The role will involve all stages of design, prototyping, testing, and validation, with the goal of ensuring that all components meet the high standards of quality, safety, and performance required for the space industry. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Mechanical Design /h3ulliDesign, develop, and optimize mechanical components for micro and small satellites, considering technical specifications, materials, and manufacturing solutions. /liliCreate 3D models and detailed technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.). /liliCollaborate with engineering teams to integrate mechanical components into space systems, ensuring that all components are optimized for the space environment. /li /ulh3Analysis and Simulation /h3ulliPerform structural, thermal, and vibration analyses to verify the performance of components under extreme operational conditions, such as launch and orbit. /liliUse simulation software (e.g., ANSYS) to test and validate the behavior of materials and mechanical components. /liliProvide solutions to optimize mechanical performance and reduce the risk of failure. /li /ulh3Testing and Validation /h3ulliPlan, execute, and analyze test campaigns for mechanical components, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality requirements. /liliCollaborate with the Testing and Integration team to ensure components are ready for the assembly process and final integration into the satellite. /liliPropose improvements based on test results to optimize the robustness of components. /li /ulh3Documentation and Reporting /h3ulliPrepare and maintain technical documentation related to designs, specifications, and design changes. /liliCreate test and analysis reports to document the validation of components and design solutions. /liliEnsure that documentation complies with company standards and space industry regulations (ECSS, NASA, ISO). /li /ulh3Project Management /h3ulliWork closely with engineering and production teams to ensure that design activities are completed on time and within budget. /liliMonitor the progress of projects, promptly addressing any technical issues that may arise during development. /li /ulh3Safety and Compliance /h3ulliEnsure that all designed components comply with space safety standards and applicable international regulations. /liliContribute to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and environmental regulations. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliEducation: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. /liliExperience: +5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the aerospace sector or other high-tech industries. /liliCAD Skills: Advanced experience with design software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar. /liliAnalytical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical simulation software for structural and thermal analysis (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL). /liliTechnical Knowledge: Understanding of materials used in the aerospace industry and mechanical design principles. /liliProblem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to solve complex problems and identify optimal solutions. /liliTeamwork: Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. /liliPossession of a valid driver’s license (Category B). /li /ulh3Preferred Skills /h3ulliExperience in designing space components or satellite systems. /liliKnowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing and other fabrication technologies. /liliFamiliarity with international space standards (ECSS, ISO, NASA). /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliA dynamic and stimulating work environment. /liliOpportunities for professional growth and development. /liliMetalmeccanico (CCNL) with compensation based on experience and skills. /li /ulh3Why Join Us? /h3pA unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.
