PpFor the Daikin internal service for prevention and well‑being at work in Ostend, we are looking for a m/f/x: /p pbSafety Advisor level 2 /b /p h3Position: /h3 pYou will be assigned to support the Well‑being and Safety department in developing and effectively implementing the necessary welfare policies that support the company’s overall strategy. You will be working in a team of 7 dedicated Safety advisors. /p pThe internal prevention service will primarily monitor the proper functioning of the Well‑being policy and the compliance with the laws and regulations. Therefore, the prevention service assists and advises the employer and all employees in their daily work, with the focus om applying all existing measures of the Well‑being Act. /p pThe tasks of the Safety advisors can be divided into three large groups: /p ul liAdvising: on all matters of the law (risk analyses, annual plans, training, organization of workstations, fire procedures…) /li liProviding assistance: for example, identifying hazards, participating in analyses and investigations /li liHelp realize and cooperate in emergency procedures, coordination of third parties, first aid, … /li /ul pThe assignments can be split-up into: /p ul ligather information by site visits, audits and reports /li liadministration by making monthly and annual reports, formulate advice on the annual and global action plans, accident analyses, …. /li /ul h3Profile Competences: /h3 ul liMaster or Bachelor degree or equivalent with genuine technical interests in Prevention, Safety Well‑being at the workplaces. /li liFor this position we are looking for a bSafety Advisor level 2 /b with a background in the various well‑being domains. /li liSomeone who has already some experience in formulating and implementing a policy. /li liHe/she should act as a team player and bring relevant expertise in the communication with the members of the safety committee. /li /ul pbCompetences /b /p ul libExcellent communicator /b: Takes the time to listen, recognizes subtle differences.
