Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager
About the Role:
The position of CBS Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all CBS activities to establish a consistent approach across the plant. This involves translating plant CBS strategy into action plans, ensuring implementation, and contributing to strategic and operative planning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all CBS activities for the plant
- Translate plant CBS strategy into action plans and ensure implementation
- Contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit
- Ensure the achievement of CBS targets according to internal and external customer expectations
CBS Project Management and Leadership:
This role requires identifying CBS opportunities and improvement potential, deriving a CBS roadmap with plant/operations unit management, initiating CBS projects, and ensuring their implementation. Additionally, it involves operating and managing idea management according to standards, training and coaching plant employees on CBS philosophy, principles, and methods, and monitoring and reporting CBS performance.
Key Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge in manufacturing-related technologies, systems, infrastructures, standards, and processes
- Expert experience in implementing CBS principles, framework, and CBS methods and tools
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of plant key processes (business and production)
- Lean production/CBS principles, methods, and tools expertise
- Strong leadership and management skills, including team-building, delegation, performance management, and people development techniques
- Proficient in project management skills, tools, and techniques
Additional Requirements:
- University degree in business administration, engineering, or a related discipline
- 5 or more years of professional experience in various CBS/lean functions, including cross-functional experience in engineering, quality, purchasing, or supply chain
- Initial experience in automotive production processes
- 3 or more years in a leadership position with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals
