Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive profitable growth and increase penetration in sales and demand creation performance.
The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop global strategies across regions, driving top-line revenue and increasing gross profit margin. You will also develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, formulating strategies with regional and branch teams to position us for growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing global strategies and implementing site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel
* Developing relationships with senior customer management through regular visits
* Presenting our value proposition by providing customers with Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives
* Working with branch and regional management to set, implement, drive, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally
* Driving key supplier initiatives outlined by marketing at each customer site
* Providing high-level service by being responsive to customer needs
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* Commercially astute and resilient with consistent proven sales track within the company or other electronic distribution business for the past five years
* Demonstrated understanding of technical teams by achieving designated number of designs in
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
* Highly organized and accurate, able to work under pressure and maintain extensive attention to detail
* Able to work under own initiative and as a member of a team
