We grew up with it here, daily: quick dose of energy after school, slow Sunday lunch with Gramma, and yet again between busy schedules as grownups. It is part of our DNA: culturally, ethically, biologically. We source, directly from Italian farmers, organic and biodiverse raw materials. We use 8 different cereals, from ancient durum Perciasacchi, stoned ground, to 4 different types of legumes to Sorghum which we grow ourselves with regenerative farming practices since 2019. Our menu is CO2e complaint TODAY with 2050 UN science-based target! We are serving about 2 million plates of pasta this year; we need that number to grow by a factor of 10 or 100 to move the needle on our mission. As we grow, we will increase R&D money invested as we see a tremendous opportunity to have more people join the food revolution needed for humanity to not only survive from extinction, but to strive, feel good and be happy along the way. Pasta R&D Intern: We look for a ‘food engineer’ that will work in our expanding Product Team - working side by side with the CEO, to take good care of Miscusi core product. Examples of special projects on which the person will be directly involved: Perennial grains - 3y R&D project about to unfold on a crop capable of CO2 insetting Life Cycle Assessment - CO2, Water & Biodiversity measurement of our products, in collaboration with our partners Sorghum 4.0 - low impact crop, grown with advanced techniques to further reduce its impact Kitchen automation - launch our kitchens into the future Main business as usual activities: Work along with our plant production partners to execute new recipes, improve or optimize existing ones Run extensive in-house tests to improve products and operations, with the goal of maximising what we call SQM (Standard Quality Miscusi) Control and analyze SQM data via Business Intelligence (speed, temperatures, picture volumes, etc.) Requirements: Able to simplify complex problems Enjoy experiment iterations Practical, hands-on approach Obsessed with details Analytical Think of food as the most powerful medicine Understand pasta is just a way of living Likes to cook pasta, lots of pasta Highly engineered mindset ‘how can I avoid failures?
