Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) Capability Team is looking for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to join our Global Capability team based in Bangalore. As a Business Analyst (BA), you will contribute to critical global services that measure Amazon’s end-to-end Customer Experience. /ppThe BA will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of priorities, competitive pressures, and operational initiatives. You will partner closely with program and technology teams to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers. You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and have the ability to break complex problems down into steps that drive programs. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliDesign and develop highly available dashboards and metrics using SQL, QuickSuite and Excel. /liliPerform data analysis and visualization using Python. /liliHave an eye for automation opportunities and deliver them. /liliUnderstand the requirements of stakeholders and map them with the data sources/data warehouse. /liliOwn the delivery and backup of periodic metrics, dashboards to the leadership team. /liliDraw inferences and conclusions, and create dashboards and visualizations of processed data, identify trends, anomalies. /liliExecute high priority (i.e. cross functional, high impact) projects to improve operations performance. /liliPerform business analysis and data queries using appropriate tools. /liliWork closely with internal stakeholders such as business teams, engineering teams, and partner teams and align them with respect to your focus area. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliExperience with SQL or ETL. /lili1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience. /lili2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience. /liliExperience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience using very large datasets. /liliExperience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby). /liliKnowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages. /liliStrong Analytical skills – has ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusion relevant to the business problem. /liliCommunication skills – Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical problems in simple plain stories.
