Overview
As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our global customers on-site. You will be responsible for leading activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard. You will have opportunities to develop your product knowledge and technical skills in a dynamic, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
* Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
* Overseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of Centrifugal Compressor products at customer sites.
* Leading in customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions.
* Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
* Experience in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
* Strong customer service orientation and experience guiding customers through decisions.
* Ability to communicate complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
* Well-versed in Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and risk awareness.
* Motivated self-starter with the ability to make key decisions and develop innovative solutions.
* Proficiency in English.
* Be available to travel globally up to 70% of the time.
* EU passport or European work permit.
