Preparation of documents Electrical architecture of high, medium and low voltagePreparation vehicle architecture of the TCMSDefinition of traction curves and development of driving simulationsDevelopment Functional specifications for the functional integration of the vehiclePreparation of the vehicle test specificationsSupport for performance and functional tests of the vehicle
Required Skills / Knowledge
Experience of at least 5 years in the railway industry with the role of Train Systems EngineerPreferred past experience in Main Line / High Speed Rolling StocksKnowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantageKnowledge of the main regulations relating to on‐board systems in the railway businessKnowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.)Knowledge of the electrotechnical, electronic, system engineering processes and the main regulations in the railway field is required, in order to manage, throughout the life cycle of the product and with an interdisciplinary approach, the design activities, development and functional integration of the subsystems of railway vehicle platforms, with particular reference to the topics of architecture, functions and vehicle performance, from the design phase to the final validation phase and analysis of feedback from the field.Recommended knowledge of electrical/mechanical design software (Autocad, Creo, Catia, etc.)Knowledge of the IBM DOORS requirements management toolKnowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway OperationsAbility to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the aptitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideasReadiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‐paced, multitasking international environmentAbility to work autonomously in teams and for projects is requiredAvailability for short‐term national and international business trip
