As SoC\FPGA engineer involved in the architecture and development of sub-micron devices, your development tasks are highly demanding in technical and soft skills. You will be working in a culture of autonomy and individual responsibility as part of an international development team, building system-on-chip FPGA devices for Transmission systems.
As FPGA-SoC Engineer you will learn and contribute to:
1. Develop state of the art electronic devices for Optical communication
2. Design of FPGA devices for processing of optical signals,
3. FPGA and ASIC verification and Emulation, using industry-leading methodologies and EDA tools.
4. Work in multi-site international development team
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
5. Working as independent contributor in development and verification of the world leading SoCs based on latest technology ASICs and FPGAs
6. Working as independent contributor in algorithm development, fixed-point modelling and fixed-point performance verification
7. Working with experts of different areas to ensure the most competitive solutions
8. Cooperating with system engineers, HW/SW development, suppliers and other relevant functions to solve technical issues
9. Supporting HW/SW bring-up and debug
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
10. Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering;
11. Demonstrated experience in deep sub-micron FPGA design,
12. Solid skills in VHDL\Verilog development and FPGA or ASIC verification;
13. Experience in Optical Transport Network equipment is preferred, and knowledge of ITU-T Transport standards and architectures, as well as synchronization techniques;
14. Experience in advanced Verification techniques and Hardware lab tools and environment;
15. Proficiency in EDA Tool Chain (Simulation, Synthesis, FPGA P&R)
16. Analytical thinking;
17. Strong Team work and communication;
18. Initiative in seeking opportunities for innovation
19. Adaptability to changing business environments
20. English (mandatory).
21. It would be nice if you also had Italian Proficiency
